'It's taking too long to move into affordable housing in Kildare'

Kildare County Council has been asked why it is taking so long to allow people to move into new affordable housing.

Cllr Evie Sammon has asked KCC for information concerning the timeline for the housing development at Barracksfield West, Naas.

Cllr Sammon has asked KCC to explain “the circumstances surrounding the duration between the opening of the application portal and the final move in dates for purchasers.”

Cllr Sammon has also asked for details about measures being taken to streamline this process for “future phases and similar housing developments.”
