Eight requests for junction boxes in Naas

Council blocks €11m plan for 44 new homes near Naas town centre

There have been eight requests for junction boxes to be provided in the greater Naas area during 2024.

Mayor Fintan Brett was told at a Naas Municipal District meeting that of these two yellow box junctions were installed, and six “were determined not required at the requested locations after (an) assessment was carried out.”

Kildare County Council uses a technical guidance document to help it assess if a junction box is warranted at any location.
