A scene from the 2023 festival
The Naas Wild Food Festival, which was due to get underway tomorrow has been called off.
The organising group, which is part of Naas Tidy Towns, apologised and attributed the decision to “unforeseen circumstances”, including the cancellation of “our main live music acts.”
The event was due to run until September 8.
The group said it wanted to ensure all stakeholders were informed before sharing the news.
The cost of any tickets purchased in advance for any of the events will be refunded and this will done through the respective booking sites in the coming days.
This would have been the 12th festival.
