A driver who was caught speeding at 100 kilometres per hour (kph) in a 50kph zone was stopped by gardaí in County kildare.
According to the official Garda Traffic account on X / Twitter: "Naas Gardaí were carrying out speed checks recently when they caught this car travelling at 100kph in a 50kph area."
The account added: "They were stopped and the driver now faces a day in court for dangerous driving."
