School organises fundraising colour run

Naas Community College

Naas Community College will stage a Colour Run (a fun run where buckets of brightly coloured powder are thrown at the participants) on Sunday April 28 (2pm).

It's hoped it'll be a great community event.

The 5km circuit run culminates with a family get-together at the  school campus with food, drinks, face painting and a barbecue.

This is the school's biggest fundraising event and in previous years fundraising has taken place for an outdoor amphitheatre and all-weather courts.

Each year the school partners with a local charity to further support student development and some 10% of the money raised this time will go to InSync, which provide a wide range of youth and family services across Kildare and west Wicklow.

The run is open to all -  students, parents, staff, and friends of NCC.
