More bus services are needed in Kildare

There is increasing demand

A call has been made for improved bus services in County Kildare.

Cllr Ivan Keatley wants Kildare County Council to ask the Kildare Local Link bus service to “to increase the frequency of bus services on Route 880 - which links Carlow with Naas.

He said this is needed because of the increasing demand.

He also said stops should be included at  Kilgowan and Ballyshannon, between Kilcullen and Athy.

He has further asked for bus stops to be provided at both townlands.
