A woman threatened her partner with a carving knife and the man video recorded the incident, it was claimed at Naas District Court.

Pictures of the alleged incident were handed into court.

The man was seeking an  interim protection order from Judge Desmond Zaidan.

Both parties were legally represented for the brief hearing.

It was claimed that the woman’s child had intervened durian that incident, which occurred in December.

It was claimed that the man is “locking himself into a box room in his own house.”

The case was adjourned and Judge Zaidan commented that if any issues arise in the meantime the gardaí should be contacted.
