Gardaí based in County Kildare have launched a witness appeal following an alleged assault incident at Basin Street in Naas.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: "Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to an incident of alleged assault on Basin Street in Naas, County Kildare, in the early hours of Sunday 5th November 2023.
"This incident, involving a male (30’s) and two females (20’s), occurred at approximately 3.35am."
The spokesperson also said that gardaí in Naas are appealing for anyone with information to come forward: "Anyone who was in the Basin Street area between 3.25am and 3.45am on Sunday, November 5, 2023, and has camera footage (including dash cam), is asked to make it available to investigating gardaí.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact Naas Garda Station on 045 884300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station."
"Investigations are ongoing," the spokesperson concluded.
