The M7 motorway in Kildare is fully operational this morning, and all lanes are open and operating as normal.

Rolling road closures took place yesterday evening between Junctions 9 and 10 (Naas and Newbridge) to enable snow clearance between the two junctions inbound.

However, Gardai have advised motorists to drive with care and observe speed restrictions that are in place due to current works on the M7.

There are foggy conditions in Kildare this morning, and while the motorway artery and several major roads are clear, there are still snow and slush hazards on smaller roads.

According to AA Roadwatch, the Barberstown Rd (R406) is reportedly down to one lane between Barberstown to Taghadoe due to snow.
