Gardaí in Kildare stopped a speeding 4×4 on the M4 yesterday evening.
According to Garda Twitter, Naas Traffic Corps detected the vehicle, which was towing a trailer, speeding at 140kph.
The speed limit on the motorway with a trailer on tow is 80kph.
The driver was issued with a fixed charge and penalty points.
