The people of the village of Carbury are unhappy with the state their village is in following construction of the R402 road.
At a meeting last Tuesday of Clane Area Committee Cllr. Brendan Weld called for a plan to improve access to the village. Council officials explained that works in the village are progressing and should be “substanitally completed” by the end of March. They accepted that there was “a level of inconvenience” but added that it was “unavoidable”. Our picture, taken last Friday morning, shows the state of the street in the village.
