Gardaí at Newbridge train station
Four people have been arrested during a high-visibility policing operation at Newbridge train station this morning.
Three were arrested on warrant and one person for public order. Gardaí say all will appear at Naas District Court today.
Gardaí commenced a Day of Action at 7:30am this morning to prevent and detect anti-social behaviour, drug dealing and bicycle theft.
The operation focuses on preventing and detecting high volume crimes, such as burglaries and thefts. prevent and detect anti-social behaviour, drug dealing and bicycle theft.
The operation will focus in particular on intelligence gathering, warrant executions, searches, arrests, crime detection and crime prevention.
The operation is being carried out by local gardaí and is supported by the Garda Dog and Mounted Units, the Armed Support Unit and Divisional Roads Policing Units.
