Irish Rail have made an appeal to find the owner of a dog that got on a train from Sallins to Dublin this morning.
The dog was found after disembarking the 8:46am train to Heuston Station by a member of the public.
Irish Rail sent out a tweet, asking for help in the search for its owner.
They tweeted: “Anyone lost their dog? We have this little fella in Heuston. He was found on the 8.46 Sallins to Houston. Help us find his owner.”
Irish Rail named the dog “Hamish”, and say he is currently being looked after at home by a staff member, until he is reunited with his owner.
