Free parking in Newbridge this Christmas
Kildare County Council have released pay parking enforcement and payment arrangements for public car parks in seven Kildare towns for the festive season.
Celbridge and Leixlip:
There will be free parking (illegal parking will be enforced) in Celbridge and Leixlip from 10 a.m. on Monday December 18 2017 to 4 pm on Tuesday January 2 2018.
Naas:
There will be free parking (illegal parking will be enforced) in Naas from 9.30am on Monday December 18 2017 to 5.30 p.m on Tuesday January 2 2018.
Athy:
There will be free parking (unauthorised and illegal parking will continue to be enforced)in Athy from 8.30 a.m. on Monday 4 December 2017 until 8.30 a.m. Monday 2 January 2018.
Kildare Town:
There will be free parking in Kildare Town (illegal parking will be enforced) from 9 a.m. on Monday December 18 2017 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday January 2 2018.
Newbridge:
There will be no free parking in Newbridge except for the GAA car park only where there will be free parking on Saturday 16, Friday 22 and Saturday 23 December 2017.
Illegal parking will continue to be enforced in all areas over the Christmas period.
Maynooth:
Normal parking enforcement will continue in Maynooth over the Christmas period.
Parking Fine Payments:
Fines issued on or after Saturday 23 December 2017 will not be available for payment at the cash office, online or using the automated telephone service until Wednesday 27 December 2017.
After this date, payments return to normal.
