Some eight patients are waiting on trolleys today at Naas General Hospital in Kildare.
That’s a fall from yesterday, when there were 14 waiting on beds.
There are also eight waiting on beds at Tallaght Hospital and six at Portlaoise. Local waits are significantly down on yesterday, according to the figures supplied by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
