The countdown is on, the dance shoes have been dusted off and the competition is fierce in advance of next month’s “Strictly Scouts for Barretstown”.
Organised in memory of former Kilcullen scout member Sarah Swaine, the South Kildare County Scout troop was out in force last Friday night to launch the event at the Silken Thomas in Kildare town.
The fundraiser will take place on Thursday evening, November 10, in the Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge. Dance rehearsals began on October 3 and are progressing well.
For further information, log on to Strictly Scouts for Barretstown on Facebook. Tickets are €20 and are available from local scout groups.
