One of the photos on display at the exhibition
Horses being ridden out in the morning Curragh mist, steam rising from an Icelandic geyser, the priceless expression of a young lad with a hurl slung over his shoulder.
These are just some of the images on display as part of the South Kildare Photography Club’s exhibition “Caught in a Moment.”
Launched by historian, Mario Corrigan at the June Fest opening reception, the images will remain on display at Newbridge library until this Sunday, June 19.
President Noel Buckley said the group was delighted to be part of June Fest.
Founded nine years ago, the group currently has 60 members from all walks of life with varying levels of experience.
Over 60 images are on display.
Mario said the library was delighted to host the official opening and the exhibition. He praised the quality of the photography and said a huge effort had been put into organising the exhibition.
