A €300k development of townhouses has been approved for Castledermot, Co Kildare.

According to Construction Information Services (CIS), APD Partnership secured planning permission for application number 2560955 on March 24 2026.

The planning application was first submitted to Kildare County Council on September 1 2025.

The application is with respect to a proposed development at Keenan's Lane, Castledermot, Co Kildare and consists of the construction of three townhouses.

The scheme comprises in a Conservation Area, for the alterations and modifications to three terraced stone cottages to create three townhouses.

The alterations will comprise of three new flat roof rear returns to provide additional accommodation, re-established boundary/garden walls to rear, the repair to existing fabric and all associated landscaping and site works.

The architect for the development is Pames Developments Limited.
