A 'large amount' of vapes and cigarettes were stolen from a business premises in North Kildare, a garda has said.
Garda Shane Smyth read out details of the incident during a guest appearance on KFM yesterday (March 4 last).
He explained that on Thursday, February 26 last, three males smashed a window at the Maxol Filling Station located in Clane.
The males then proceeded to steal the items from the premises before fleeing the scene.
Gda Smyth concluded by urging anyone with information and / or video footage relating to the crime to contact Leixlip Garda Station on 01 666 7800.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about this incident, a garda spokesperson responded: "Gardaí attended a scene of a burglary at a business premises in Prosperous, County Kildare in the early hours of Thursday, February 26 last."
They added that investigations are ongoing.
