A five-night Solemn Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help will take place at St Peter & St Paul Church, Monasterevin Co Kildare from Monday, March 9th to Friday, March 13th.
The annual event, themed “Baptised & Sent”, will begin each evening at 7.30pm and feature a range of guest speakers sharing personal stories of faith, service and outreach.
Proceedings will open on Monday night with guest speaker Dana Scallon, known for her career in music and public life, including winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1970 before entering politics in 1997.

On Tuesday, representatives from Cuan Mhuire addiction treatment centre in Athy will address those in attendance, focusing on support available for individuals battling addiction.
Wednesday’s reflection will be led by recently ordained deacon Declan Prendergast, who will share his personal journey and vocation story.
A guest speaker for Thursday night is yet to be confirmed.
The Novena will conclude on Friday with a talk from Conor Kelly of Trócaire, who has recently returned from working as a Field Officer in Malawi.
All are welcome to attend the nightly services.
