"Adored and loved by their sons" - Funeral arrangements for Kildare couple

Funeral arrangements have been announced for the Naas, Co Kildare residents who died in a fatal collision in their native county of Waterford at the weekend.

Brian Frisby and Grace Elliott, both in their 40s, died when the car they were travelling in was in collision with a van on the Tramore Road (R675) at Robin Hill, Tramore on Saturday afternoon.

Brian and Grace leave behind two sons, Fionn and Theo, and a wealth of family and friends who are mourning their tragic passing.

Brian is formerly of Newport Square, Waterford.
Grace is formerly of Lisduggan, Waterford and was a teacher at Scoil Na Naomh Uilig in Newbridge.
Brian is predeceased by his sister Maria and grandparents.
Grace is predeceased by her nephew Ciarán and grandparents.

Brian and Grace were adored and loved by their sons Theo and Fionn. They were also cherished by their heartbroken parents Seanie and Mary Elliott and Bernard and Mary Frisby.

Brian is sadly missed by his brothers Richard and Michael, sister Susan, brother-in-law Derek and John, sisters-in-law Debbie and Lorna, nephews and nieces Aoife, Emily, Niamh, Jack, Tadhg, Sean, Michael, Pauric, Amelie, Leila, Elle and Mila and grand-niece Annie.

Grace is mourned by her brother Stephen, sisters Denise and Laura, brother-in-law Gerry, sister-in-law Síle, nieces Sarah, Rebecca, Alannah, Romy, Jasmine and Sasha and grand-niece Averie, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Brian and Grace will be reposing at George Mullins Funerals, The Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas, Co. Kildare on Thursday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with vigil prayers and Rosary at 6:45pm.

Requiem Mass will take place at the Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas on Friday at 10:00am followed by burial in the St. Corban’s Cemetery, Naas.

The couple were deeply involved with Naas GAA in Co Kildare where Brian was a much-loved and respected coach.

In a tribute, the club said: "Naas GAA is deeply saddened by the tragic passing of two much loved members of our club and community, Brian & Grace Frisby, who lost their lives in a road traffic accident on Saturday.

"Our thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with their two sons, Fionn and Theo, their extended families, friends, and all who are grieving at this devastating time. This is an unimaginable loss for those closest to them, and the entire Naas GAA community stands with them in their sorrow.

"Brian was an active coach within our club, giving generously of his time, energy, and passion to support and develop our young players.

"His passing under such tragic circumstances will be felt far and wide across both the club and the wider community. His contribution and support will be remembered with deep appreciation.

"In the coming days, we will work closely with the family to support them in any way we can, and we ask that the privacy of all those affected be respected as they navigate this very painful period. Ar dheis Dé go raibh an anamacha."

Kildare Camogie also issued a tribute to the couple.

They said: It is with great sadness that the Kildare Camogie Executive and County Board have been informed about the untimely passing of two Naas GAA members.

"The Kildare Camogie County Community stand with Naas GAA with the loss of their much loved members."
