The Kildare Garda Division has announced the opening of nominations for the eighth annual Kildare Garda Youth Awards, celebrating the achievements and positive contributions of young people aged between 13 and 21 across Co Kildare.
The awards aim to recognise young people who have made a difference in their communities, with honours presented across a number of categories.
These include six individual awards - three representing North Kildare and three from South Kildare - as well as a Special Achievement Award for a young person who has overcome significant personal challenges.

Additional categories include an Overall Winner Award, a Voluntary Group Achievement Award, and a Community Safety Award, acknowledging youth-led initiatives that promote wellbeing and safety within local communities.
Winners from the Kildare division will go on to represent the county at the National Garda Youth Awards, scheduled to take place in November 2026.
Nominations are now open and will remain so until March 20, 2026.
Submissions can be made through an online nomination form or by scanning the QR code provided on promotional materials.
