A book of evidence was served on a man who is accused of burgling fuel station off the M7 motorway on the Kildare - Laois border.
Dillon Keegan (23) of Deansrath Avenue, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, is accused of burglary at Emo Filling Station at Junction 15 of the M7 and causing damage to a heavy duty shop window frame at the station on May 30, 2025.
Garda Lisa Murray gave evidence of serving the book on the accused at a sitting of Portlaoise District Court.
Garda Sergeant JJ Kirby said the DPP had directed that the defendant should be sent forward to the next sittings of Portlaoise Circuit Court beginning on February 17, 2026.

Judge Susan Fay issued an alibi warning and granted legal aid for one solicitor and one barrister.
She remanded the defendant in custody and sent the case forward to the next sittings of Portlaoise Circuit Court on February 17.
