Houses in Kildare need upgrading so elderly residents can have easier access

Some older residents are finding it difficult to access their homes.

Local councillor Fintan Brett wants Kildare County Council to carry out work on these properties.

He has asked KCC if there are any "works programmes in place or at design stage to upgrade entrances to older housing stock where elderly residents are finding access to their homes difficult."

He said he was referring to in particular St Brigid’s Terrace, Sallins and St Patrick’s Park, Kill.
