Quantum Group - the main sponsor of Kilcock St Patrick's Day Parade 2026
The Kilcock St Patrick's Day Committee, under the Chairmanship of Mr. Peter Divilly is pleased to announce details of this year’s parade which will take place in Kilcock, Co Kildare on Tuesday March 17 2026.
The main sponsor this year is Quantum Group, a local company led by father and son Miceál Sammon and Miceál Anthony Sammon. Their experience and heritage as a quality large-scale builder have given them a clear vision of Ireland’s urgent need for responsible and sustainable property development – both commercial and residential.
The parade will start at St Joseph’s graveyard Boycetown at 13.30pm. The theme for participants in this year’s parade is “On our Screens – from Soaps to Superheroes”.
The route will take the parade from Boycetown into Church St, through Main St and on to the Viewing Stand in The Square.

Seamus and Jane Staunton have been invited as special guests of honour this year as they have recently retired after 36 years of running L’Horizon. They have also shown immense goodwill to the parade committees throughout the years.
This year St Patrick’s Day Parade will cost in the region of €8,000 to €10,000 to stage in a safe way and the committee would like to recognise the contributions of all the businesses, contributors and volunteers who make the parade a reality every year.
The committee would also like to acknowledge the contribution and cooperation of Kildare County Council each year.
Along with the viewing stand located in the square as usual, there will be a wheelchair area located at the front of the viewing stand, as well as a quiet area for those who wish to avail of it at the front of Scoil Dara.
There will be many trophies and prizes for the float entries in the parade which will be judged by a
panel of three judges.
The results and prize giving will take place on Saturday 28 March 2026 in Kilcock GAA Branganstown at 9 pm.
All are welcome.
