Clane forward Brian McLoughlin has once again been named in the GAA.ie Football Team of the Week after a starring role in Kildare's nine-point win over Offaly.
McLoughlin hit 0-5 as Kildare ran out 3-17 to 0-17 winners over The Faithful in Cedral St Conleth's Park to get their first win on the board and move third in Division 2. McLoughlin moves to 0-14 for the season as he continued his fine form from Omagh into week two.
In a sea of (deserved) praise for Brian Flanagan's young guns, the 27 year-old has assumed the role of a leader from the front in what has been a promising opening two games for Kildare in the Allianz Football League.
The Lilies' next game is on Valentine's Day and it is another home fixture as they take on Derry at 6:30pm.
