The Kildare ladies have named their team to face Armagh this weekend in their second Lidl Ladies National Football League Division 1 fixture. The Lilies, after a late change of venue, welcome The Orchard County to Manguard Park on Sunday, February 1 for a 2pm throw-in.

KILDARE: Rachel Fennin; Emma Wheeler, Ruth Sargent, Mia Doherty; Hazel McLoughlin, Lisa Shaw, Laoise Lenehan; Nanci Murphy, Gillian Wheeler; Mayah Doyle, Ciara Wheeler, Aoife Rattigan; Aoife Murnane, Aine Mernagh, Alannah Prizeman.

The Lilies are fresh off a brilliant away performance in Cork that saw them leave with a point that they were, in the end, disappointed with after being pegged back by a last-minute free-kick from Katie Quirke.

Meanwhile, Armagh suffered a heavy home defeat, 2-14 to 0-8, to Waterford in their opening round clash but will be in the hunt for a response when they travel south to face Kildare. Armagh outclassed Kildare in their league meeting in 2025 before The Lilies defied the odds to dump The Orchard County out of the All-Ireland Senior Championship last year in the group stages.
