Kildare's Naas Roads Policing Unit (Naas RPU) recently stopped a motorcycle travelling at high speed on the N7 near Kill.
The rider:
Had no insurance
Brought a foreign-registered motorcycle into the State over two years ago and failed to have it re-registered
Tested positive for cannabis and was arrested for drug driving
The motorcycle was seized.
A court appearance will follow for:
No insurance
Failure to register vehicle
Drug driving
A garda spokesperson said: “Please slow down and never drive or ride under the influence of drink or drugs.
“Your decisions can have lifelong consequences for you and others.”
