Judge Desmond Zaidan noted that in a written statement prepared by the woman in advance of the case, she said he had called her a “selfish c…”.

She said she had asked him to move out several times but he replied he had nowhere to go, though she said he had recently bought a house elsewhere in the country.

The woman said she is frightened of her son, who did not appear and was not represented, and she suspected he had taken money from her handbag and items from the house.

She further alleged he hides her handbag and he wants her to go into a nursing home and he will then rent out rooms in her house.

The woman also alleged he had physically abused her husband using an iron bar and had assaulted another sibling with a chair.

Judge Desmodn Zaidna granted her an interim protection order.
