Planning permission has been granted for a €1 million office development of a building in Naas, Co Kildare that formerly housed an Indian restaurant.

The building was the location of the former Mantra Indian restaurant which closed recently.

The facility is above Boots pharmacy at Unit 1A and Unit 2A, Naas Town Centre, on the Dublin Road.

The approved development by developer Newbridge Arcade Ltd provides for the change of use of use to office accommodation on the first and second floors of the building.

The works will deliver 432 square metres of office space.

The new layout will include office accommodation, meeting rooms, staff facilities and a canteen, along with all associated ancillary works.
