A planning application has been submitted to Meath County Council for a €1m, five house development in Kilcock, Co Kildare.

According to Construction Information Services (CIS), application number 2660044 was submitted to the local authority on January 9 2026 by McGarrell Reilly Group, with respect to a site south of the R125 at Newtownmoyaghy, Kilcock, Co Kildare.

The scheme comprises the proposed development (c. 0.266 hectares) located to the south of the R125 at Newtownmoyaghy, Kilcock.

The development is to consist of five residential units comprising four three-bedroom dwellings and one four-bedroom dwelling with associated private open space, landscaping and car parking.

The proposed development will provide an extension to the larger Millerstown housing development currently under construction to the south.

The architect for the proposed development is Kellarch Limited.
