National body asked to open apprenticeship college in Kildare

There is support for this among local politicians

Long delays hindering Leitrim apprentices career progression

A call has been made for an apprentices college to be established in Kildare.

There was support among fellow councillors at a Naas Municipal District meeting for this project.

Naas mayor Seamie Moore requested Kildare County Council writes to the National Apprenticeship Office “requesting that Naas be considered as a new location for a college for apprenticeship programmes when the Action Plan for Apprenticeship 2021-2025 is being reviewed.”
