While on duty in Sallins, An Garda Síochána Kildare's attention was caught by one particular motorist.
On closer inspection, Gardaí soon determined that the driver had:
No Insurance
No tax
No NCT
Was an unaccompanied learner driver
Had no 'L' plates displayed.
The driver's vehicle was seized and impound fees now apply.
Fixed Charge Penalty Notices (FCPNs) were also issued, and a court appearance is to follow.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána Kildare stated: “...have your vehicle road legal, insured, roadworthy. There’s no shortcut around it.”
