LATEST: Major global discount chain opens first store in Kildare this weekend

Chemist Warehouse, the internationally acclaimed discount pharmacy chain, is opening the doors to its 17th Irish store at The Globe Retail Park, Naas, Co Kildare on Saturday, 13th December.

The 705 sqm mega pharmacy at The Globe Retail Park, not only sees the opening of Chemist Warehouse’s first store in Co. Kildare but also boosts local employment, bringing 29 new jobs to the area, including two full-time pharmacist positions and three managerial roles. 

Its promise of up to 70% off prescription costs and no dispensing fee underpins the brand’s commitment to easing the cost of living for Irish communities.

This core brand value is supported by a strong retail offering that includes leading Irish and international health, wellness, and beauty brands, making high-quality care and everyday essentials more accessible than ever. 

Since entering the Irish market in 2020, Chemist Warehouse has opened stores across several countries locations, including Dublin, Cork, Meath, Carlow, Louth, Limerick and Wexford and has created over 550 new jobs nationwide.

The company has also confirmed  plans to open new stores in Nenagh and Dublin’s Ilac Centre early next year, as well as to launch an online marketplace.
