A brand-new online jewellery raffle aims to raise funds for an animal rescue group which is based in County Kildare.
The fundraiser, which is currently live on idonate.ie, is being organised by goldsmith Janice Byrne.
Explaining the motivation behind the fundraiser, Ms Byrne said: "I’m delighted to be running a special mini raffle to raise funds for Kildare Wildlife Rescue, a charity doing incredible work rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing injured or orphaned wildlife across Ireland.
"To help support their work, I’ve donated 12 pieces of handmade jewellery as prizes.
"Each piece was crafted in my studio using high-quality materials, and the total value of the prizes is approximately €2,000."
She also asserted that all funds raised will "go directly towards helping wildlife in need, from emergency veterinary care to food, rehabilitation supplies, and safe release back into the wild".
Anyone wishing to book tickets and / or find out more about the prizes can visit the fundraiser's official idonate.ie page.
It has a €10,000 goal and will close at 3.39pm on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
