Kildare university's Psychology department hosts final event of its 25th anniversary year

Maynooth University’s Department of Psychology brings its 25th anniversary celebrations to a close with a special event featuring Dr Sarah Cassidy, President Elect of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).

Dr Cassidy, who is both an alumna and a former lecturer at Maynooth University, Kildare, will give a talk on the future of psychology.

This will be followed by a panel discussion with alumni and distinguished guests, including former PSI Presidents Dr Anne Kehoe and Dr Ian O’Grady.

A reception, open to all participants, will take place after the panel discussion.

Dr Cassidy is a PSI Chartered Psychologist and the founder and director of Smithsfield Clinic, a co-founder and co-director of New England Centre for OCD and Anxiety (Ireland), and co-founder of Maynooth University spinout company, RaiseYourIQ.

An expert in educational, child and adolescent psychology, she has been providing psycho-educational, neurodevelopmental, mental health assessments, therapy, and training for nearly 25 years. She lectures and publishes nationally and internationally in academic, community and professional settings.
