If you are interested in learning about the Winter habits of Irish wildlife, then you may want to check out two upcoming talks courtesy of Kildare Wildlife Rescue (KWR).

According to KWR, 'Paws, Wings and Winter Things' will detail "how Irish Wildlife spends the winter months, followed by a seasonal activity".

The first event will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025 (from 1pm to 2.30pm), while the second event will take place on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 (from 10am to 11.30am).

Both events will take place at KWR's premises, which is located on the Grey Abbey Road near Kildare town (R51 X338).

Booking via Eventbrite.

BRIEF BACKGROUND

Established in 2022, KWR, which is a registered charity, later acquired its own site in July of that same year.

The organisation's centre is divided into a number of areas and pens, each specially designated for a different type of animal.

KWR is led by its manager, Dan Donoher, a Monasterevin native who is also known for his previous work with Kildare Animal Foundation.
