Motorist in this Kildare town stopped for a litany of driving offences

Naas Roads Policing Unit were on patrol in Celbridge, Co Kildare when they checked a vehicle using the Mobility Device.

The driver was found to have:

  • No insurance

  • No NCT

  • No motor tax (expired 846 days)

  • No driving licence (unable to produce one)

The driver also tested positive for cocaine and cannabis and was arrested for drug driving.

The vehicle was impounded, and a court appearance will follow.
