Overcrowding eases at Kildare's main hospital

Seven people on trolleys at Naas Hospital

Kildare's Naas General Hospital advises patients with non-emergency conditions to seek assistance from other parts of the health service

Seven people were treated on trolleys at Naas Hospital today, making it the least overcrowded hospital on the eastern region.

There were eight patients on trolleys at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown and the most overcrowded was St Vincent's Hospital where there were 35 people on trolleys.

There was no overcrowding at Tullamore Hospital and there were six people on trolleys at Portlaoise Hospital.
