Kildare SHC 'B' winners Clane will face Wexford's Davidstown Courtnacuddy in the 2025 AIB Leinster Club Junior Hurling Championship Final in Manguard Park, Hawkfield. The final is set for a 1:30pm throw-in on Sunday, December 7.
Clane comfortably came through their semi-final with Laois Intermediate champions Clonad, winning 2-22 to 1-6 while their Wexford opposition toppled Kilkenny's Barrow Rangers by 2-16 to 0-15 to reach next month's decider.
Speaking after his side's semi-final win, Clane manager Willie Banks said: “You have to be proud of the lads. We came with a plan, we stuck to the plan, and it is a joy to coach and manage a team that sticks to the process and trusts the process. They are all pushing the same way. Parts of the game got scrappy today, but I am not worried about that. The lads were outstanding today I thought and in the first 20 minutes they were on fire. We closed it out in the end, we did okay. We hit most of our KPI's (key performance indicators), so we are pretty happy. Leaving here today, I am delighted, delighted for the lads and delighted for the panel of 30-plus that come and train every week.”
