BREAKING:  Drugs worth over €500k seized in Kildare

The ketamine found at a residential premises in South Co. Kildare, today

As part of an intelligence-led operation, Gardaí and Revenue officers seized approximately 9kg of suspected ketamine with an estimated value of €540,000 at a residential premises in South Co. Kildare, today.

This seizure (pictured above) was made as a result of a joint operation conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), Newbridge Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Custom Service.

A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested by Gardaí and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in Kildare.

Gardaí said that investigations are ongoing.
