Naas General Hospital
Some 13 people were treated on trolleys at Naas Hospital, having been admitted through the accident and emergency department.

But the most overcrowded hospital in the eastern region was Tallaght Hospital where there were 52 people on trolleys.
There were no patients on trolleys at Tullamore Hospital and the figure for Portrloaise was three.
