An wildlife rescue group based in County Kildare has released a new appeal for towels.
Taking to social media, Kildare Wildlife Rescue said: "We are currently seeking donations of towels to be used for our patients."
The group added: "Donations can be dropped into the centre between 9am and 7pm, seven days a week."
Kildare Wildlife Rescue's centre is located on the Grey Abbey Road, Greyabbey, near Kildare town (R51 X338).
BRIEF BACKGROUND
Established in February of 2022, Kildare Wildlife Rescue is a registered animal welfare charity.
It opened its first rehabilitation centre in July of 2022 and, according to its official website, the group has a team of over 100 volunteers.
Kildare Wildlife Rescue notably made headlines in July of 2024 when it nursed a Herring Gull who was spotted on the pitch of an All-Ireland game while in an injured state.
The Herring Gull later made a full recovery.
