Footpaths to be upgraded as scenic Kildare lakes location

Work is planned to upgrade the footpaths at the Naas Lakes area.

Cllr Bill Clear asked at a Naas Municipal District committee meeting if Kildare County Council had plans to provide concrete bases underneath the seating there.

Kildare County Council said work is underway to design and upgrade the paths around the lakes and this will include upgrading the seating and the surfacing beneath them.

The work will be carried out in 2026.
