A variety of online tributes have been paid to a Kildare resident who recently passed away suddenly on Halloween.

The late Gavin Walker passed away suddenly on October 31 last.

He was surrounded by his loving family in Naas Hospital.

One person who paid tribute to the late Gavin Walker on RIP.ie said about him: "My deepest condolences to all Gavin's family and friends.

"My prayers and thoughts are with you all at this time."

They added: "It was a great pleasure to work with Gavin, he enriched so many lives; may he rest in peace."

Another person said: "Deeply saddened to hear of Gavin's passing.

"Thinking of all of his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.

"Gavin was a gent and always had time for a joke and laugh, even in challenging times.

"He covered my role during one of my maternity leaves and I'll be eternally grateful."

They concluded: "He will be greatly missed; rest in peace."

A separate person said that they knew late Gavin Walker "through school and Taekwondo".

This person noted that he "was a fierce competitor and a gentleman" and said that he would "be sadly missed by all who knew him".

Lastly, one person said that the late Gavin Walker "had an epic ability to crack a joke no matter what the situation".

They added: "He was a true gent and will be greatly missed."

DEATH NOTICE

Pre-deceased by his beloved dad George.

Beloved partner and best friend to Pearl and loving and devoted dad to Ben, Amy, Chloe, and Dylan and loving stepdad to Kenneth, Jason, and Jonathan.

Gavin will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving family, partner, children, stepchildren, mam Jeanette, sisters Lisa and Audrey, brother Darren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and wide circle of friends.

May Gavin Rest In Peace. 

Reposing at his home on Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm.

A celebration of Gavin’s life will take place on Thursday at 10am in the Temple at Newlands Cross Crematorium followed by Cremation.

Family flowers only please.
