Nine patients on trolleys at Kildare's main hospital today

There were 44 patients on trolleys in one Dublin Hospital

Kildare's Naas General Hospital advises patients with non-emergency conditions to seek assistance from other parts of the health service

Nine patients were treated on trolleys today at Naas Hospital, having been admitted through the accident and emergency department.

Tallaght Hospital had less overcrowding with two people on trolleys.

However the overcrowding figures for St Vincent's Hospital in Dublin, according to nurses, was 44.
