Before the court was Dean Power, 22, whose address was given as 84 Abbey Grove, Navan.
He was before the court for trespass at an address at Rail Park, Maynooth on August 24, 2024.
Sgt Hanrahan told the court that the defendant had 81 previous convictions.
Defending solicitor David Powderly said there was a suggestion that the man had come into contact with cow faeces before he was discovered asleep.
Judge Desmond Zaidan said he was disappointed to hear of the man’s previous convictions.
He told the man, who was in custody and who appeared via videolink, not to throw his life away. He said that but for the previous convictions he would have applied the Probation Act.
He imposed a three months term.
