Classes aimed at teaching female members of the Travelling Community how to swim are due to begin in South Kildare next month.
Organised by Swim Ireland Participation, K Leisure Athy and Kildare Sports Partnership, the lessons will form part of a six week course.
Each class will run from 10am to 10.45am.
The cost for this course is €25, plus a booking fee.
Anyone interested in attending these classes can secure their spot by visiting Eventmaster.ie.
In addition, anyone seeking further information about these classes can contact louisemcnamee@swimireland.ie.
The lessons will start on Monday, November 10, 2025.
