Arrest warrant issued for man over Kildare train station incident

He has over 200 previous convictions

A warrant was issued for the arrest of a man, at Naas District Court.

The man who has an address in Dublin city was prosecuted for an alleged breach of the Public Order Act on August 5 at the rail station in Maynooth.

Sgt Tom O’Donoghue said it will be alleged the defendant was abusive and shouting and told gardaí to f… off. He was arrested and conveyed to a garda station.

Sgt O’Donoghue also said the man has 226 previous convictions.

The defendant did not attend the hearing and was not represented.
