Woman 'didn't know' her husband had a problem with alcohol, Kildare court told

She sought protection from the judge

Naas District Court was told that a woman did not know her husband had a problem with alcohol.

The woman further alleged he is aggressive and unstable with alcohol and told of calling the gardaí because of his aggressive behaviour.

She claimed he came to collect the child after drinking, got aggressive and showed her the middle finger in front of the child.

“He keeps phoning me, his behaviour is not predictable," she claimed.

Judge Desmond Zaidan granted an interim protection order, adjourning the case to May 25 next.

The man was not present or represented.
